Stage Craft
This massive 3-story set included a hidden bookshelf door and surprise “windows” behind the paintings. The paint treatment was influenced by both the Rococo period and an exaggerated comic approach, representing the play’s historical time period and wacky plot. A functional two-story slide built into the set emphasized the show’s whimsy and playfulness.
